(More customer reviews)This product is a victim of improper labeling. It really is a replacement wireless router which sits between the cable or fios router and replaces the wireless. It is NOT a repeater to a range extender in the normal way. My needs were to put something that picks up the existing wireless router's signal and amplifies it. This is what I was led to believe by the product label. After a bit of work it became obvious there were problems. Thanks to the first review on Amazon I realized this was not what I needed. This product may deserve a much higher rating if it was named and labeled in an unambiguous way. So the rating has a lot to do with the fact that it does not do what is was advertised to do.
I suggest manufacturers be very clear on what their products do. Making a sale is not worth getting an angry customer who ends up returning the product.
