(More customer reviews)Having used a D-Link 614+ router and a 900+ repeater for a couple of years, I'd become accustomed to the daily power cycling to restore reliable operation. Once that router finally got too flaky, I went shopping for a replacement, and found that these 3com models were available with a tremendous rebate. I got a pair of them going in the house, and the difference is like night and day.
These routers are rock solid after a month in place, and cast a stronger signal throughout my old stone-walled house. Even though I've not upgraded any of my D-Link wireless cards installed in my computers from my current 802.11b, the connection speed is much faster and more stable with these routers.
3com's reputation for high quality equipment seems well earned, given the performance of this product. I'm completely satisfied now, and the 3 year warranty that covers them extends my peace of mind.
