Simply plug in to a USB port on your computer after you have inserted your SIM card and the software will prompt to be installed automatically. Once the software is installed there are helpfiles within that. Be carefull inserting your SIM card. The red tray that pulls out actually has a spot to insert your card. Dont just stick it in the hole or its difficult to get out. I am using this device in Kandahar Afghanistan and it seems to work well. The packing will show that it is compatable with Windows 2000, XP, and Vista. We have tested it on Windows 7, and it seemed to work fine. Software installed without any problems, and we were able to connect to the Internet.We are using Afghan-Wireless as a service provider. You will need to contact your carrier for settings for this device.
