(More customer reviews)I am running a "pre-N" network which simply means it's faster than G speed and with greater range. I bought this adapter for my kids PC about 35 feet away and through an interior wall. The download speeds are nearly as fast as my wired connection - I'm amazed.
Although I'm an advanced user (20 years with a home PC - built a few over the years) getting this device up and running was simply plug and play. I was online in 5 minutes. The connection is rock solid - no drops or loss of speed after a few weeks use. BTW, I opted for USB so the unit can be used on a new PC down the road (since it won't be obsolete for a long while given the speed).
