(More customer reviews)I bought this product to use with my Dish Network ViP622 and ViP211 receivers that have builtin Powerline capabilty. I just connected one TRENDnet adapter by my Linksys router and followed the DISH directions online with each receiver to discover my local network. I didn't install the suppplied TRENDnet software since I was only using one adapter to handle both my Powerline receivers.
It worked PERFECT all in less than 10 minutes, thought I had to plug one receiver straight into an outlet, but the other connected fine going through a surge protector. In theory a no no since the data could get filtered as well. I guess that surge device wasn't filtering real well....
