(More customer reviews)I bought a pair of these Corinex AV200's. They are configured from a web browser, so don't require any software installation and are compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux. Set up is relatively straightforward. There is a vast array of options - these are real, honest-to-goodness routers - for QoS and lots of other networking features and behaviors. However, there are sensible defaults throughout, so, after configuring them into your network and setting an encrypption key, they just work.
They worked great on the 20-year-old wiring in my apartment. 25Mb/sec was the minimum speed and up to 40Mb on good days.
Be sure you plug them *directly* into the wall outlet; if you use a surge-supressing powerstrip, it simply will not work. They run hot to the touch, always.
After 10 months, one of the pair died, and that was that.
