(More customer reviews)I've struggled with picking up my Linksys wireless router signal when 3-4 rooms away. I've tried a Linksys booster as well as high gain antena but got only a marginal increase in reception. That all changed when I installed this card. I now get a "verry good" or "excellent" signal from anywhere in my home. I can even get a good signal from my back yard, 1/2 an acre away from my house! The trick is to configure the card precisely per the directions and not to allow windows to install it automatically.
