(More customer reviews)I purchased this antenna to extend the range of my Actiontec M1424WR Router to an in-law apartment that was having problems losing the router's signal and getting knocked off the internet. It seems to have done the trick - the Roku box in the inlaw now gets double the signal strength for Netflis (4 "dots" instead of 2) and my Mom's netbook gets a "low" signal instead of "very low". The difference between low and very low may not sound like much, but when the signal drops on very low, you lose your connection, while when it drops on low, the signal is maintained.
I assume that this will work as well with any router that has an antenna of lower power (less than 9 dBi) with a R-SMA connector. I would definitely recommend it, especially if replacing your router is not an option.
