I've only had this card for a week, but I am extremely pleased with the performance and stability of this card. I live in a rural area that only recently got Rev A and I happen to be right outside that coverage on the Sprint maps. I had already installed the latest Sprint Connection Manager software prior to the cards arrival so I had everything ready to go within minutes of opening the box.
Actually that is only partly true, apparently you have to wait "up to 4 hours" for the card provisioning after you contact the support line to complete the activation process. This was the hardest part of the process as all you can do is sit in front of your laptop and wait for the "Go" button to become active. :) Thanks to my hovering I was connected within seconds after the provisioning completed, which was thankfully well under the 4 hour window.
The Connection Manager software is pretty lean, but it is effective. You can see all the important status information needed for finding the signal sweet spot in your location. It also has a cute throughput counter, but this is not of real importance unless you are not on an unlimited plan. The card antenna itself is pretty small, but sensitive. I was able to get 1xRTT on my entire main level and found the windows that allowed me to ge to Rev 0 EVDO pretty easily. Due to my fringe location I required an external antenna and my additional purchased was immediately justified by hitting Rev A almost immediately.
I have no particular interest in the GPS/LBS offering as I already have a GPS in my car, but I was wondering why they offered it in its current state. As of the date of this review, you can only use it to find IIRC the nearest Sprint (owned) store, gas stations, hotels and restaurants. Maybe down the road it will become more feature complete, but I also would not be terribly surprised to see an upcharge for this functionality.
The card performs very well in the EVDO router I have and seems to be one of the most broadly supported Rev A EVDO cards. This is a PC Card/PCMCIA form factor card! There is a mini Express card version that may be in more recent Mac and PC laptops, so make sure you get the version you need.
I have no real complaints for this card, but I also spent quite a bit of time making sure it was the one I wanted. If you're in the market for EVDO be sure to take your time, plan ahead if you're going to need it before a road trip and seek out the advice of online communities that specialize in this arena. This card freed me from satellite internet, reduced my monthly cost by $20, dropped my pings from 1100-1200ms to 110-120ms, and increased my uploads 4x. Downloads are pretty close at the moment, but that is likely due to my fringe location. Others in better coverage areas routinely report 1500-2000+ kbps down and 600-800+ kbps up. Dropping to Rev 0 will slow you down quite a bit, particularly in uploads. If you have the misfortune of hitting 1xRTT it will feel like dialup, but at least you'll be wireless and maybe even in motion while you do it.

Sprint Airave Review

Sprint Airave
Average Reviews:

This product works as billed. Had one in service for about a year. Incredible signal in the defined area in a building where tower coverage was / is a problem. Could not be happier with the product and an added benefit is that the minutes that you use when talking via the Airave do not accumulate as min. used on your cell plan.
When you make or receive a call that comes via the Airave and you move out of range, if you are in range of a traditional tower you move to the external tower flawlessly. One thing to note is that if you are out of range and are on a call and come into range of the Airave you will not move to the device. Not a big deal but you should know this.

Sprint 3G/4G USB Device U301 (Sprint) Review

Sprint 3G/4G USB Device U301 (Sprint)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this mobile broadband card and the 3G/4G data plan to go with it to replace a 3G card/plan from AT&T (NOTE: I bought this directly from Sprint - I did not buy this through Amazon). After several months of using this, I can say I am very glad I made this switch. I use this card in a major metropolitan area (Chicago) that has both 3G and 4G. I have been very impressed with the 3G. I find it to be very fast, much, much faster than AT&T's ridiculously slow 3G network. In fact, I find it to be nearly as fast as the fastest DSL speeds I used to get at home (before I got a cable modem). It is also very reliable. I can count on one hand the number of times I have been disconnected in the past several months. AT&T would disconnect me about five or six times an hour! This card also gets a strong 3G signal in areas that AT&T was never able to get any signal, even deep within the concrete-filled train station. The card itself has a swivel connection, making it very easy to connect to any USB port without it being in the way or sticking out.
Unlike the 3G performance, the 4G experience has not been as impressive. While the 4G is noticeably faster, it is not that much faster and I certainly don't see the 10 times faster speeds that are quoted in some advertising. In addition, although this varies dramatically from day to day, the 4G disconnects/drops the signal about three or four times an hour for me on average. It re-connects automatically within a minute but it is annoying. Also, despite being well within the 4G coverage map, there are several areas that simply do not get a 4G connection at all. If the 3G wasn't so impressive, I might be a little disappointed with this card based solely on the 4G performance. In fact, there are many days where I don't even bother with the 4G network and just stay on the 3G network.
I also want to say a word about Sprint itself. I have been very impressed with this company. I ordered this card on a Saturday night and it arrived on Monday afternoon. Set up was easy and everything worked perfectly on the first try. Online account management was easy to setup and worked immediately. My initial bill and all subsequent bills were exactly correct. All of this contrasts significantly from my AT&T experience.
In summary, this is an excellent mobile broadband card, an excellent mobile broadband plan, and an excellent company. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Linksys Wireless-G Router For Mobile Broadband For Use With Sprint Review

Linksys Wireless-G Router For Mobile Broadband For Use With Sprint

We use one of these for tradeshows to connect multiple computers at the booth and can share the connection with our colleagues in other booths. When the wife and I travel, we can be on the internet on separate laptops. If a client is without internet for whatever reason, this can serve them for a short time days until they are back online.
It's easy to setup and with the firmware update never drops the connection to Sprint.

Subject to customer authorization by Linksys. The Linksys Wireless-G Router for Mobile Broadband is really three devices in one box. First, theres the Wireless Access Point, which lets you connect both screaming fast Wireless-G (802.11g at 54Mbps) and Wireless-B (802.11b at 11Mbps) devices to the network. Second, it is a built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100 Switch to connect your wired-Ethernet devices together. Connect four PCs directly or attach more hubs and switches to create as big a network as you need. Thirdly, the Router function ties it all together and lets your whole network share a mobile broadband Internet connection (requires a mobile broadband data card). Alternatively, you can also connect a cable or DSL modem to the Ethernet port and access the Internet via your available broadband service. Once your computers are connected to the Router and the Internet, they can communicate with each other too, sharing document files, a printer, storage space, and other resources.

Average Reviews:

MiFi 2352 works for philippine user. It connects Smart, Globe and Sun broadband connections. I would refer this to all Ipad users with Wifi. Instead of getting the Ipad 3G this is the product you need. it connects not only your Ipad but also it can connect you cellphone or laptop at the same time. Why pay an extra monthly charge just to power you Ipad when you can share it with this devise.

Virgin Mobile Wireless Network Router MiFi 2200 Review

Virgin Mobile Wireless Network Router MiFi 2200
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Everywhere that we have used our Virgin Mobile Mifi, it has worked great. $40 a month unlimited internet with no contract, and the ability to only pay for it the months you use it, is the best deal out there. I highly recommend this device.
One note that you might not be aware of. None of the Mifi 2200's (for any carrier) can be used while they are connected to a computer's USB. The data connection to the computer shuts the Wifi off. There are three solutions. 1) If you use the Mifi on battery this isn't an issue (obviously) 2) If you use the Mifi plugged into a wall or car charger, with no data connection to a computer, this isn't an issue. 3) If you buy a "Power-Only", no data, USB cable, or modify your USB cable to remove the data connection, you can power it off your computer and still use the Wifi.
