(More customer reviews)I have now 3 wireless components for my laptop. One is intergrated, the other is like this one, but with far better range, and now this one with the speed I was looking for. How I know this is I disabled ones I wasn't testing and compared it at speedtest . net. And I saw the improvements. I'm a gamer and I use my neighbors wifi with her permission and I get the bandwidth I was looking for.
As far as the range goes, she is a good half a block away and I set the adapter to where it picks up a normal range and I'm happy with it now.
It doesn't time out like my other one, but I think my other one does that because of the rain. All in All, this is a buy if you use your wifi alot and expect the most out of your speed.
Range sucks for me because I'm a half block away from the router/modem, but if your in your house, it should be great.
