Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector Review

Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector

Sure, the "Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector" is great if you don't have a wirelesss rouder, but please, $50? I found this for $30 at the Nintendo site. Why pay overpriced? Even though the price on 'Amazon' is selling it for is high, it's perfect for people who have Wi-Fi compatible games but no rouder. I would have ginev it a 4/5, but the price is too high.

What I look for in most products is reliability. I only want to buy it once! This item works as advertised.
It's compatible with the two systems I tried so far; Windows7 and XP. And it's fast.
If your wondering how long the attached cable will last, it seems sturdy enough to see many years of normal use. This is a quality item. I doubt anyone buying this adapter will be disappointed. Enjoy!

3G Broadband Router - WiFi Wireless N (MoFi MOFI3500-3GN) Review

I bought this to use with a Rogers Rocket stick and use it as an internet gateway for three computers and an iPod Touch. Works really well, with occasional connectivity drops that require a reset, maybe once a week. Not sure if it is better than the Rogers Wireless Hub and I shall probably give that a try once my contract expires with the Rocket Stick. I wish it had an extra USB hub to attach a hard drive.

So far, the product is working properly for me, and the product arrived sooner than I expected. I needed this product to provide wifi to my nintendo ds, because I did not want to take the security off my router, or switch to WEP. Here is what I did to set mine up, not sure if it will work for everyone, some of these WLAN products and drivers are strange.
1. Plugged the device into computer, and I ignored the "Found new hardware" thing that popped up from windows.
2. Inserted disc that came with product, and opened the files up from the D drive. I thin went into the wifi folder that was on the disc, and the the setup in admin mode. (I'm on vista 32 bit btw)
4. from there I just allowed the setup to run, and restarted my computer to finalize installation.
5. I opened the program and clicked the Mode tab at the top, and switched it to Access Point.
6. I think clicked the ICS tab, and applied it to my computers source of internet. (my ethernet cord.) From there I was able to successfully make a connection with the DS Lite.
I can't figure out how to change the SSID name, it takes the name of whatever you have your computer named as.

E2000 Advanced Dual-Band Wireless-N Router *Refurbished* Review

E2000 Advanced Dual-Band Wireless-N Router *Refurbished*
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
With a refurbished product, you know that it has been evaluated and functions to the manufacturer's specifications. With a new version, the likelihood that there are minor flaws to the product's aesthetics is higher, however you may end up with a defective/DOA unit.
The E2000's throughput and performance outpace that of the E3000 (more expensive) and provide most of the same features. Even though this model isn't capable of multicasting 2.4GHz and 5GHz at the same time, isolating the unit to 802.11N clients only and connecting to a Gigabit desktop for network storage is blazingly fast. I have our cable modem plugged into the E2000, several newer "N" devices connected at 2.4GHz wirelessly, one desktop computer via Gigabit Ethernet and an Airport Extreme (b/g capable - looks like a UFO with a port from the E2000 plugged into its WAN port) in G-only mode for the older wireless clients in the house. I wanted to keep our WDS network alive with AirTunes on an Airport Express (b/g version) in our home theater, so I chose another wireless network name for the Airport devices.
Once I figured out that confusing setup, the execution was a breeze. People complain about the functions of this router being split between the Cisco setup CD/program and the root IP's web-based interface, but after the initial selections (router name and a few other items that won't ever need to be changed) with the CD there is really no need to re-run it. The main items unavailable on the web interface are Parental Controls (not an issue in my situation, at least) and Guest Access (in my opinion, not a great idea for home networking).
Bottom line: this product is fast and does what it is supposed to. I don't need a "full-featured" router that does a poor job as a Network Attached Storage device, or access to a USB printer when my multi-function device would be crippled to printing only in that configuration. I wanted a good quality 802.11n-capable router with gigabit ethernet and got exactly what I was looking for...
in a factory-tested device at an unbeatable price!
