(More customer reviews)I like the USB modem a lot. I broke my PC Card slot by keeping my previous PC Card Modem inside my computer all of the time so I needed something different. The signal is good for the most part, but I'm looking into an antenna because of the poor to no reception in my dad's trailer.
Here are a couple of things to remember when using it.
1. When sitting next to someone on a couch: Use the Extension USB cord so that the person you're next to doesn't accidentally press down on the USB Modem and break it.
2. Never leave the Modem in the USB slot when your laptop is packed away or not in use: Otherwise it will break. (It's rather easy to take out and put away [given you don't use the included USB extension for a power boost]).
